Green Space Explorers

Explore your local green space in a fun, active session using fieldwork and geographical skills to examine human influence on the environment.

Waterside Wildlife Walks

By following a trail along the River Thames or Grand Union Canal, the class will observe the waterside habitat and identify waterside wildlife and vegetation. We will use field guides, binoculars and photography to identify and record the birds we discover and find out how the animals and plants are adapted to their environment.

Healthy Living

An active learning session about what we need to do to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The session takes place in Ravenscourt Park greenhouses and includes making fruit smoothies by cycling a smoothie bike, learning about food plants and herbs and growing some of our own food plants to take home. (Subject to availability at the greenhouses)
